Colmek's most notable achievements in this area include the design, fabrication, integration and operational support of the system which first located the Titanic and then the German Battleship Bismarck. Coda Octopus Colmek's Telemetry Systems have demonstrated the ability to operate over cables where lengths approach 40,000 feet.

Since 1987, Colmek has manufactured 178 Vehicle Telemetry units (robot) and 34 Shipboard units for the U.S. Navy's Mine Neutralization System (MNS). These are important to mention because of their rigid quality requirements, including MIL-Q-9858. Also, to date Colmek has designed and manufactured 65 Telemetry Systems for Benthos, Inc. Vehicles are utilized by the Navy in mine countermeasures systems (MCM) programs.
