The SeaFox Video Recorder (PN 13082-1) was developed for the NAVSEA Airborne Mine Neutralization System , as a solution to the challenge of realizing a mission critical recording device in only four months. It is environmentally ruggedized to operate aboard a top side command ship, with connection to the submersible vehicle via fiber optic cable.

PASS Video Recorder

PASS Video Recorder
The PASS computer was originally developed for the USN Close-in Weapon System (CIWS), without data recording capability and later upgraded to include the video interface and video compression with recording.

The original development was 6 weeks to proto, based on custom chassis and COTS components. At the request for a technology refresh, video capability was demonstrated after 2 weeks of at site effort, followed by 5 weeks to realize the new mechanical packaging forced by the addition of two PC-104 cards.

ES II Sonar Recorder

ES II Sonar Recorder
The Video Recording System (VRS) is designed as the core media management system for viewing and recording sonar for CodaOctopus. It is based on PC-104 components , and also controls the inputs and outputs coming from the sonar head, such as navigation, attitude, and serial commands ,in addition to the Echoscope II sonar data.

The media for this data recorder was designed with a custom mechanical carrier so the drive can easily be removed and replaced with a fresh drive, or a drive with previously recorded data, and to also facilitate upgrades to utilize alternative COTS drives.

DIU 212 Sonar Recorder

DIU 212
The Data Integration Unit (DIU) is a specialized highly dense solution developed for the CodaOctopus Underwater Echoscope 3D Imaging System (color). Its data recording function captures and stores two ports of sonar imagery in raw format and associated telemetry including live content sources by multiple serial , USB, and Ethernet ports. Exploitation is done live or offline where playback supports various interrogation profiles.
