Coda Octopus Colmek is looking to add the following positions to our team:

Mechanical Engineer:

Coda Octopus Colmek is looking for a mechanical engineer to work on complex mechanical designs for both military and commercial applications. This position is located at the Colmeks home office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

General Responsibility:

Designs, manages fabrication of, and documents mechanical parts, assemblies, and mechanisms in a quick and efficient manner. Perform detailed thermal, vibrational and structural analysis of mechanical designs.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters Degree preferred with 3-5 years industry experience.

Hardware Design Engineer:

Coda Octopus Colmek is looking for an experienced electronics hardware engineer with a desire to design unique boards and systems. The candidate will work with digital and analog hardware, FPGAs, and various embedded system components.

Colmek is an exciting place to work and unlike some larger companies, Colmek engineers directly see the effects of their work. This is a great opportunity for a "hands-on" engineer who wants to be involved in a wide variety of interesting projects.

General Responsibility:

The candidate must be able to read and understand requirements, interact with other members of the technical staff, design from circuit-level up through box-level, perform schematic capture, research and select components, perform engineering analyses, layout printed circuit boards, and participate in design reviews.

The candidate should understand the overall engineering process, from design kick-off to production; and, must be capable of interacting with the various disciplines involved in production of a product. In addition to the required hardware design abilities, the ideal candidate will have experience with FPGA system design and embedded systems software design.

Requirements:

Equivalent of a Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer engineering. A Masters Degree is preferred. At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Software Engineer:

Coda Octopus Colmek is looking for an experienced embedded software engineer with a desire to design software for unique boards and systems. The candidate will work with software for devices ranging from simple micro-controllers to sophisticated multi-processor systems.

Colmek is an exciting place to work and unlike some larger companies, Colmek engineers directly see the effects of their work. This is a great opportunity for a "hands-on" software engineer who wants to be involved in a wide variety of interesting projects.

General Responsibility:
