James Brown

Director of Manufacturing Operations

Jim Brown joined CodaOctapus Colmek in 1985 as a Project Engineer. Mr. Brown became the Operation Team Leader at CodaOctapus Colmek in 1996 and serves as the in-house IT Administrator. Mr. Brown has played key roles in the development of the AN/AQS-14 and AN/AQS-24 project, which provides critical, real-time, airborne mission analysis data used in detecting underwater mines, and multiple advanced VME chassis and video converters used in the Phalanx Block 1B, incoming missile detection and tracking system. He also oversaw the mechanical development of a non-magnetic MRI gravity compression simulation device and played a critical role in designing ice monitoring systems to be used on oil tankers in the Barents Sea.

Mr. Brown is a member of the ISO 9001/2000 QMS team. Mr. Brown is dedicated to providing superior quality products and has upheld this dedication through his tenure at CodaOctapus Colmek. He holds an Electronics Engineering Technology degree from Weber State University.
