Mike Midgley, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Midgley has over 35 years of business experience and expertise as a Certified Public Accountant. His vast expertise covers accounting and finance, having spent much of his career dealing with complex financial reporting procedures, payroll, auditing, tax and benefit management. Besides filling the office of CEO, Mr. Midgley is responsible for financial management and control of all business units owned by parent company "Coda Octopus Group". Previously he has worked for Skaggs Public Safety and was President & CFO at Covol Technologies.

Mark E. Hatch, Chief Operating Officer / Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Hatch has operating responsibility for Colmek and manages Business Development, Engineering, and Production, and is responsible for the companies technical capability and overall direction. During his career of over 30 years he has developed advanced technologies, engineering capability, has had major roles in research and development resulting in a number of patents, and has managed both small business groups and larger defense contractor teams. Mr. Hatch's professional experience includes employment Northrop Grumman, Teltronics, and L-3 Communications, and he is a graduate of the University of Utah with BS & MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Jeffry P. Summerhays, VP Business Development

Mr. Summerhays manages and directs business development activities at Colmek by applying his broad background of experience in the DoD sector and has responsibility for all company business development efforts including rep sales and direct sales. He has held Business Development / Program Management positions with General Atomics, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications, and Qualcomm, and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.

Jason Martin, VP Engineering

Mr. Martin manages engineering at Colmek and applies his extensive background in embedded systems, processor architectures, FPGA and CPLDs, Verilog and Xilinx tools. He is proficient in a variety of software packages including the GNU compiler and tools, Matlab/Simulink, Xilinx ISE, TI Code Composer, Solidworks, and Mathematica and routinely programs in C++, C and various assembly languages. Mr. Martin holds a BS in Computer Science from Utah State University and has several years of Electrical Engineering experience with the Center for Self Organizing and Intelligent Systems (CSOIS), developing software architectures for several classes of mobile robotic systems.

James Brown, VP Production

Mr. Brown has over 25 years experience in production and manufacturing and manages production and manufacturing teams at Colmek. As part of his responsibility he also manages subcontractors who are part of our material supply chain and manages our materials supply chain. Mr. Brown is dedicated to providing superior quality products and holds an Electronics Engineering Technology degree from Weber State University.
