07/08 - North America West Coast Technology Demo Tour

Colmek Systems along with Coda Octopus held a demonstration this June of the new Echoscope Real Time 3D Sonar and the Underwater Inspection System (UIS). Visiting Vancouver, Canada, Seattle, WA, and San Diego, CA, the tour gave its attendees a look into the newest technology available from Coda Octopus. It highlighted applications in underwater security, real time sub sea construction and visualization, port and harbor maintenance, search and recovery and bridge inspection.

This unique technology is fast assisting military, port security and local law enforcement authorities around the country by providing a valuable underwater sensor asset. This kicked off the transfer of Colmeks west coast sales plan for 2009. The UIS uses an Echoscope Sonar Head, and incorporates an F-180 Global Positioning System in a compact, pole-mounted design that requires less set-up time and little on-site calibration.

The news system also uses the latest software viewing package, which provides a more user-friendly interface. Colmek is focusing additional resources and marketing energy on UIS and Echoscope sales efforts, specifically targeting the West Coast ports of Vancouver, B.C., Seattle/Tacoma, Portland, San Francisco/ Oakland, and San Diego.
