We are dedicated to comprehensive engineering projects, from concept and design, through production, and support.
Coda Octopus Colmek is currently seeking an FPGA Engineer. Candidates will be working on a variety of programs from custom communication links for telemetry to embedded sonar systems. Extensive experience implementing diverse SOC, data flow, and signal processing systems in FPGAs is desired. Candidate will work on initial system architecture, prototype on dev-boards, implement the final FPGA/hardware design, and take design through lab testing and verification.
A high level of creativity is required to succeed in this position. The ideal candidate will be excited to take full advantage of the processor, programmable logic, and I/O subsystems in the Xilinx Zynq family FPGAs. Candidate must will be comfortable starting a project with incomplete requirements and helping to define appropriate requirements as the project proceeds.
Candidates must be able to read and understand customer requirements, interact with other members of the technical staff, design and implement firmware/software, perform engineering analyses, and participate in design reviews. Candidates should understand the overall product engineering process, from design kick-off to production, and must be capable of interacting with the various disciplines involved in production of a product.
Must be US citizen. Ability to obtain security clearance is NOT required.
