Coda Octopus Colmek is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to augment our engineering team. The candidate will work with SolidWorks to design custom enclosures and housings for miniature rugged computers, underwater sonars, large rugged servers, and other systems up to full electronics cabinets.
The candidate must be able to read and understand requirements, interact with other members of the technical staff, design and oversee fabrication of mechanical assemblies, perform engineering analyses, create production and assembly drawings, and participate in design reviews. The candidate should understand the overall product engineering process, from design kick-off to production; and must be capable of interacting with the various disciplines involved in production of a product.

Must be a US citizen
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
